Day 01: San Jose/ Manuel Antonio

Shuttle transfer to Manuel Antonio National Park, Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. This beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest, and the snorkeling is excellent too. The forest is home for sloths, iguanas, the rare and adorable squirrel monkeys and millions of colorful little crabs. And the trail that winds around Punta Catedral affords some spectacular views. The park is easy to reach, south of the town of Quepos, and is near a good selection of hotels and restaurants. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach, Overnight at Cabinas Espadilla, this small hotel is located just 3 minutes from the entrance of the National Park and the beach, it offers swimming pool, restaurant, rooms with private bathroom and hot water.

 Day 02: Manuel Antonio/ Damas Island kayaking tour

After breakfast, Kayaking tour: Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your ride to the put in shore.
During the 20 minute drive your guide will explain some of the scenery highlights. This Manuel Antonio tour allows you to explore the wonders of the mangrove ecosystem. You will set out in a river called Paquita facing an island and float along the soft currents under a verdant forest canopy. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled so you can spot the innumerable aviary species, snakes, ant eaters and white faced monkeys.
While you silently observe this rich habitat your guide will offer explanations about the nature specimens found in this unique region. This Manuel Antonio tour takes you through the natural channels and provides an ideal opportunity to observe heron species, kingfishers, ospreys, frigots and other migratory birds. As you journey through the brackish waters you can catch glimpses of the island as you pass beneath tunnels made naturally from tree growths.
